    • The Nasdaq MarketSite Tower, congratulated PERMA-PIPE International Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPIH) on its 30th listing and founding anniversary

    • PERMA-PIPE establishes a new production facility in Beni Suef, Egypt

    • PERMA-PIPE was awarded a major contract for the largest medical facility in the twin cities, Jeddah and Riyadh, for The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

    • MFRI Board of Directors approves to rename and rebrand the Company under the PERMA-PIPE name

    • MFRI announces name change to PERMA-PIPE International Holdings, Inc. Ticker symbol to become “PPIH”

    • MFRI names David J. Mansfield as President and Chief Executive Officer

    • Acquires all shares of Bayou PERMA-PIPE Canada Ltd and renames company PERMA-PIPE Canada Ltd

    • PERMA-PIPE invests in Canada through Bayou PERMA-PIPE Canada Ltd

    • Awarded the order to supply GSPU insulated offshore pipeline for the Shell Perdido Project

    • Awarded to supply pre-insulated piping systems for the district heating and cooling at the Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This project was the first and largest university for women in the Middle East

    2008
    • New Iberia facility receives ISO 9001 certification

    • Sets up a manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India to insulate and jacket a 610 km heavy crude oil pipeline that runs from Barmer to Salaya in India. This pipeline is the longest pre-insulated, skin effect heat traced pipeline in the world

    2006
    • Awarded the 34 km Qatar Gas II Sulfur Pipeline Project for the first heat traced molten sulphur pipeline in the Middle East

    • Received EN 253 Test certification

    2005
    • PERMA-PIPE Middle East (FZC) registered in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, as the first plant in the Middle East to serve the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and supply to the district cooling and oil & gas industries

    2003
    • Awarded a contract for the Al Dhafra Air Force Base in the United Arab Emirates. This contract was the first jet fuel double containment pipeline in the Middle East for a military airbase

  • 1997
    •Sets up a manufacturing facility in New Iberia, LA, USA to serve the offshore oil & gas industry

    1994
    • PERMA-PIPE became a public company, a subsidiary of MFRI, Inc. in January. The stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol “MFRI”

    • Midwesco, Inc. merged with PERMA-PIPE

    • PERMA-PIPE acquired certain assets* of its major competitor Ricwil Piping Systems.

    *PERMA-PIPE is not a successor in interest to Ricwil, Inc., Ricwil Limited Partnership or Ricwil Piping Systems a division of Intergy, Inc.

    • The first major manufacturer to receive U.S. Military Federal Agency Letter of Acceptability for Class A systems

    • PermAlert® leak detection was introduced

    1983
    • Received Federal Agency approval for condensate return POLY-THERM with an FRP service pipe, testing temperatures to 300° F (149°C)

    1989
    • Midwesco Inc. subsidiary Midwesco Filter Resources Inc., became a public company with stock traded on NASDAQ

  • 1909
    • Ricwil, Inc., was formed

    • Midwesco, Inc., was formed

    • PERMA-PIPE was incorporated as a division of Midwesco, Inc., a private company in Chicago, Illinois

    1969
    • Opened manufacturing facilities in Lebanon, Tennessee. Our centrally located facility conveniently services the entire United States and all U.S. ports of call

    1979
    • Awarded its very first contract in the Middle East for the King Khalid Military City in Saudi Arabia
