CHIL-GARD® is a cost effect factory preinsulated system for the underground chilled water and condenser water distribution. Gasketed bell joint construction accommodates pipe movement, eliminating expansion and contraction stresses wthin the system.

CHIL-GARD® is a cost effect factory preinsulated system for chilled water distribution. The system is provided with C900, Class 160 or Class 200, bell and spigot PVC pipe inside a PVC outer jacket. The system is supplied in 20 foot lengths. All fittings are supplied by the installing contractor and can be ductile iron of PVC. All fittings require a concrete thrust block poured around each change in direction. Pipe sizes are from 2" to 12", larger sizes are available in our XTRU-THERM® product line. Field joints are not insulated by design.
Temp Range: 32ºF to 90ºF
Max Pressure: 160 PSIG and 200 PSIG at 70ºF
Pipe Sizes: 2" to 12"
