OIL & GAS

Pipelines and piping systems have been used to transport oil & gas for over 200 years. Today, developing onshore and offshore oil & gas systems are more challenging than ever before.

Offshore oil & gas systems are being developed with greater water depths, higher pressures and temperatures, and more complex fluid systems. Subsea processing equipment and pipelines often require insulation to maintain fluid temperatures above the point where hydrate or paraffin formation can occur, resulting in restricted or blocked flow and reduced production.

Onshore pipelines are increasingly being constructed in densely populated regions of the world requiring increased safety precautions and advanced corrosion mitigation techniques.
